Sign up for Direct Deposit Refunds in CASHNet via Self-Service at saic.edu/selfservice for direct deposit into your bank account.
This form is available to students who would like to apply for an advance on their anticipated credit balance based upon their aid for the semester. Students should sign up for Direct Deposit Refunds in CASHNet to receive their funds electronically into their US bank account. CASHNet is accessed by first logging into Self-Service.
The advance request below can be submitted by the student NO SOONER than the 15th of the month before the start of each term.
Advances processing begins 7–10 days before the term begins and continue for 6 weeks. The amount of the advance is equal to 50% of the anticipated credit balance for the semester, up to a maximum of $1000.
Advances are available to students who:
- Have completed the necessary steps to receive all financial aid funds (including loan funds, if applicable)
- Have a financial aid award calculated based upon the actual number of hours they are enrolled
- Do not have an outstanding balance from previous terms
- Submit their request no sooner than the 15th of the month before the start of each term
