The Ryerson & Burnham Libraries, located in the Art Institute of Chicago (111 S. Michigan Ave.) are open to students* on Thursdays from 10:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m. and on Wednesdays and Fridays from 1:00–5:00 p.m.

You can also get research help by just stopping by the reference desk during these hours. Visit our website to search the catalog, access databases, and learn more about our print and digital collections.

*SAIC graduate students can access the libraries Monday–Friday during the open hours of the museum after they have had a library orientation. Please contact Autumn Mather (amather@artic.edu, 312.443.3665) to schedule an orientation.
