Online Training
To take an online version of this training, which you can complete at your own pace, sign in to Canvas at http://canvas.saic.edu/ and check your Course list. If you’re faculty, you have been pre-enrolled in the course. If you’re staff, you can become enrolled by contacting us at canvas_help@saic.edu.
Once you complete the course, you will be given full access to Canvas within 48 hours, after which you can begin building courses. If a course called “2014 SAIC Canvas Online Training” does not appear in your course list, please email canvas_help@saic.edu to request enrollment.
Please note that you will be enrolled as a student in the online training course. You will be a teacher in your other courses in Canvas.
Instructor-led Workshop
To attend an instructor-led training workshop, please reserve a seat by registering for one of the upcoming sessions below.
All workshops take place at 112 S Michigan Ave, Room 908. Sessions are 3 hours long and will include a break and time allotted for the instructor to help you begin creating a course. Feel free to bring materials to add to your course.
